Just opened. Too soon to judge fully because I know it will open up in a few hours and days. Initial assessment is smells cab like but the mouth feel is a little furry and not as fruity as the nose portrayed. The oxidation will help tremendously. — 8 years ago

UPDATE: You can see my original post below. Wine was much better on day 2. Upgraded my rating from a 7.5 to an 8.6. Softened and balanced now. Would buy again.
Not the greatest. Alcohol is too hot. I'm a fan of Folie a Deux and Dry Creek is my fav zin appellation so disappointed it fell short. — 8 years ago

There's amazing zin. Balanced with a pop of freshness that carries into soft blueberries with a touch of sour. All giving great structure to the wine. This wine has those elements but they're all a bit muted. You can sense them well enough and the price makes this wine a must buy in my opinion. — 8 years ago
