Was not sure what to expect for the Sherry Lehmann house pinot noir wine. Quite good. A slight dryness but overpowering. A touch of the long lasting mellowness but not too much to take over from some fruit. Interesting that it is only sold in NY state supposedly and the grapes are grown in Cali and shipped to NY and made into wine. Anyway good stuff. — 12 years ago
Had with spicy noodles and crab. Light and fruity. A great balance.

Better than expected. — 12 years ago
Had it hidden in the apartment for a long long time. Wasn't sure how it would be after 10 years in so so conditions but it was fantastic. Delicious! Had it with a lamb stew and everything was perfect. Have a bunch of newer vintages in the cellar and counting down the time to for that special occasion to start enjoying them. — 10 years ago
A bit stony, tinny and little or no fruitiness. Perhaps a little more European? Less enjoyable for me but certainly doable but if I were to do it again I would have it with grilled meat or something similar rather than my eggplant parm. : ) — 12 years ago
