Funky Pinot Grigio from Slovenia. I had to order it because I’m Slovenian. It’s not like an Italian Pinot Grigio. Skin contact gives it an orange/rose color. Delightful white stone fruits on the palate. Really refreshing. Went well with the seafood dishes we had.
Very interesting Pinot Grigio from Slovenia. I’m Slovenian, so I kind of had to order this. They let the Pinot Gris grape have some skin contact to produce an orange/rose colored wine. This is not like any other Pinot Grigio I have ever had - and that’s good! There are white stone fruits on the palate. Very refreshing and paired well with the seafood dishes.

Not a bad wine, it's just that I have had better Cabernets, John. I agree with another reviewer that maybe it needs to breathe a bit.
