This one was built to age more in a high quality German style. This has complexity that only a few will understand and changes with temperature. Not a typical Mainstream NY Seneca Lake Riesling- yes minerals are there with bone dry tingle and at first you think it is too burnt floral with petrol but if you give it a chance the long finish provides the fruit at the end that satisfies the palate — 6 years ago

I can smell the Mondavi Cellar with French oak in in this glass a tart cherry with mouthful of cherry and vanilla that confirms the noise. A fantastic New world Pinot I think those that rated this before me had it to young. The balance of acidity, alcohol and flavor have come forward. — 6 years ago

I lean toward liking medium bodied high acidity wines with blackberries and dark cherry notes so I really like this wine. Cool marketing with interesting story. Great job Ravenswood team! — 7 years ago
