It's had a long and wonderful life. Soft tannins, earthy mushroom nose. A little barnyard. On the palate delicate beginnings of tar and licorice. Growing into a delicious blend of fennel seed, pencil shavings and black fruit. — 9 years ago
On the nose this wine displays cocoa and crushed black cherries. On the palate there is a tinge of herbs, black fruit and dark chocolate, which lasts for 20-30 seconds. Gorgeous Napa Cab. Not too in your face. — 9 years ago
Holding up quite well. Supple fruit, typical Opus nose we all live. On the palate licorice and plums. Dark chocolate and tobacco as secondary flavors. Still has some slight tannins that hit you up front. — 9 years ago

Kalaris 2013 Merlot. Let sit for 30 minutes in glass. Clean forest like nose with hints of fresh smashed berries. Young racy tannins. Rushes over the palate with fresh raspberry and blackberry juice. Finishes quickly but lingers as overripe berries and a hint of earth. Can't wait to try in a few years. — 9 years ago
