What Meurault should taste like. Incredible acidity and fruit providing over a 60 second finish that quenches your thirst but leaves you wanting more. Enjoyed over an hour at dinner the wine continued to evolve - providing some incredible heft on the tongue for a white wine. Really loved this - drinking great now and should for many years to come. — 9 years ago
One of our absolute favorite white wines. Paired with lobster this wine and food were basically created for each other. Balanced from beginning to end - rich in texture with notes of honey, almonds, and grapefruit. I could drink this every night and be a happy guy. One of the longest finishes of any white wine we drink. Stunning. — 9 years ago
Cinnamon, nutmeg on the nose - slight earthiness but not typical of what I would expect from others in St Emillion at this price point...some vegetation with a short finish...wouldn't buy again, past its prime. — 9 years ago
Nice little Montalcino - drank with spaghetti and meatballs, great fruit forward wine at a reasonable cost. Little breathing time helped open it up. — 9 years ago
Very representative of what a Paso Zin should taste like...awesome ripe dark fruit - liquified blueberry pie in a bottle. Extremely balanced for a wine that is 15+% alcohol. — 9 years ago
Drinking perfect right now - dark dark chocolate, extremely smooth in the mouth, with fresh ripe fruit both on the nose and tongue. I always like to lay Caymus down for 4-5 years, this proves exactly why. — 9 years ago
Drinking beautifully right now, dark chocolate, mocha, and blackberries on the nose - terrific blend of 60% cab, 29% merlot, 8% Malbec and 3% Cabernet franc. Smooth and round on the pallet with shuttle tannins - opened up nicely over an hour of drinking - providing close to a :60 second finish. Last bottle consumed - wish I had more! — 9 years ago
Very well balanced Zin, 14.6% alcohol blends nicely with some incredibly fresh dark fruit, not hot at all on the nose or pallet. Paired with some grilled pork chops and salad. — 9 years ago

Cherry-raspberries on the nose, dried fruit and maybe some raisin tones -very well made wine - great balance with good acidity and long mouthfeel. Popped and poured the wine is opening up beautifully after about 15 minutes. Made to drink now but should develop beautifully over the next 3-5 years. — 9 years ago
