What Meurault should taste like. Incredible acidity and fruit providing over a 60 second finish that quenches your thirst but leaves you wanting more. Enjoyed over an hour at dinner the wine continued to evolve - providing some incredible heft on the tongue for a white wine. Really loved this - drinking great now and should for many years to come.

Meursault. The way to my heart. This is just missing about 5 years.

chalky and creamy and honeyed. tropical fruits on the nose, mostly ripe mango and funky melon. a fair amount of piquancy calls out for some cooked fowl or pork chops with apples. characteristically long finish with some subtle baking spices. a bit overripe, though perhaps another few years in bottle would calm it down

Initially rather acidic on first opening, but develops slowly during the evening. Day 2 the acidity plays second fiddle to the warm aromatic bouquet and rich full bodied taste: oaky vanilla, and Mellon overtures. This is reminiscent of a mature Viognier.
