Just experience Harlan wines after a long wait on the mailing list. This wine was like velvet, pure dark fruit with cassis & a very faint hint of an anise. On the nose and palate no hints of oak, pure fruit. Rich, decedent, silky, lived up to my expectations, darn it! — 5 years ago
What a pleasant surprise, had this to kick off a friends retirement, and 4th. of July weekend, what a pleasant surprise, one bottle turned into two! What a lovely expression of Champagne, it was almost as beautiful as the ladies we were celebrating with, class, refined, soft, & elegant! I usually discount Dom, but it I was like the lady in the corner with the black dress & grey mikimoto pearls just inviting you to take another glance / Taste! Plus the Mrs. is still speaking of it. — 5 years ago
The 2004 at 15-years of age is still youthful! Well balanced as always, just a wonderful blend, love the fruit with tea notes, oak is fully integrated in the wine pure silk! Held up well against Harlan, Scarecrow, Morlet, Hall, & Rudd Cabs. Just a. Lass act! — 5 years ago
Always represents its self well against the Cali Cult Cabs!!!’ Had the Cœur De Vallée Cab, cause I broke the Passionnent in the decanter 10-minutes before kick off, a sad a moment! It stood up to Harlan’s Promontory, Scarecrow, Rudd, & and 04 Insignia. Again a true expression@of Oakville terroir to bad we couldn’t compare a Screaming Eagle. — 5 years ago
What a GREAT difference from@2017 vintage, in a much better way! The nose is a little grasses, and a slight petroleum funk, the palate is balanced and crisp, wonderful@wine to ienjoy on a hot summer evening in Indiana!!! — 5 years ago
What a GREAT $100 Cab!!! Balanced finesse, nice black fruit, very little of the vanilla you get from the oak. Nicely done Will Harlan — 6 years ago
I believe this was Sam’s second vintage of her Cab. It has evolved over the past 6-7 years when I first tasted it. I am dying to try the 2016 vintage in ten years as I think with all the work in the vineyards this may become a rock star. Thanks for continuing the legacy of your father!! — 5 years ago
What a true expression of the Rutherford terroir, it had dusty notes with tons of dark blue fruit, still very young at 10-years of age, I think I might open one of my four left in 2024. So one of our friends needs to celebrate something special I 2014! — 5 years ago
What a wonderful Rośe from Domaine Tavel the de Bois. I know I drank the wine colder than it should be consumed, but what a guilty pleasure, the nose had a hint of raspberry soda, and the palate was like an explosion of a dry adult raspberry soda, and withe the French bread & tomatoes with basil, I could not have asked for anything better!!! — 5 years ago

I know only 5-years young! Decanted a hour and a half, drank at about 56 - 58 degrees, what a wonderful expression of Meursault 1st Cru! Had with a French green bean salad that had basil& almonds with a light vinaigrette,
Amazing pairing. Precision, balance and side fruit, really no saline. Excellent !! — 5 years ago
