This is a relatively "light" amarone. A deep nose suggests more but it does not quite have the depth and complexity I expect on the palate. Good cherries, smoke and chocolate. And a longish finish but not quite too class. Opens with time so don't rush it. — 7 years ago

This 2015 is much less satisfying than the 2014. Lighter and less complex but still good value for money. The Classico is a clear step down from here. — 7 years ago
