Very fruit forward. Raspberry and mint with earthy herbals after. Medium tannin and fill bodied. Nose is heavy on Cabernet, almost like a Napa. Plums, graphite, and even salt on the nose? Very good. — 8 years ago

Jammy and spicy nose of currants, raspberry, black pepper, and a dash of anise and mint. After opening for a bit shows some nice structure and a decent wash. Lush red apple, pear, blood orange, and herbal qualities on the body. 89 points. — 8 years ago

After almost five hours decanted, this is showing nicely. Intense dark fruits and a bit of honeysuckle up front, followed by relatively soft tannins and herbal qualities on the wash: chamomile and a bit of mint. The nose is still slightly hard, but by no means unpleasant- raspberry, forest floor, camphor, and even a bit of citrus for me. Certainly ready now. — 8 years ago
