The nose was stellar, almost Bordeaux like after a few minutes. The taste was very earthy, smokey, full of dark fruit. Took about 20 minutes to develope (Provence did not offer to decant). Paired nicely with filet mignon with lardons and reduced gravy. — 10 years ago
