Deep ruby/purple/burgundy in colour, dense and well built wine, ready to drink. Solid and well balanced. It took a while to open up, better on the 2nd day. — 4 months ago

Jenny brought it back from Italy, when she visited the winery. Mature and ready, it went really well with bbq rack of lamb chops. — 4 days ago

Opened for my 80th birthday. From a magnum, fully mature, still plenty of freshness, perfect balance, full body with excellent presence in the mouth, so tasty, it really went well with roasted suckling pig dinner. — 8 months ago
Opened for my 80th birthday. Wow, at its peak, deep cherry colour, fresh, vibrant, complex with amazing depth and flavours, a long aftertaste. So tasty. — 8 months ago
Quite a wine for a village Chablis. Coats the palate so nicely, earthy, rich and flavourful, quite dense with good weight, and a long aftertaste. Excellent value. — 4 months ago
Opened for my 80th birthday. Following the delicious dinner and wines, we needed a bottle of port with the cake and other sweets. Mature but so fresh for its age, this port did not disappoint, it was yummy. And by the end of the evening, no wine and no port leftovers, ha, ha. — 8 months ago
Opened for my 80th birthday. Superb winemaking. Deep colour, close to optimum maturity, complex with a long aftertaste. So enjoyable. — 8 months ago

One of my favourite 2007s, and this is my last bottle. And that’s really too bad, it’s still drinking so nicely, still highly enjoyable. — 4 days ago
