It was all they had at the local eatery. A bit disjointed, not sure if it will ever come together, no matter how long it ages... — 10 years ago
2012 vintage.
Full bodied, like a cup of fruit in syrup in your mouth but not ripe fruit. Not sweet AT ALL! Super tart like citrus rinds, the piths, very bitter. Bone dry, sharp and crisp, all at the same damn time! It's a little thick for me, maybe if you like the bitterness of IPAs, you might translate that love to this wine...otherwise, sick to some chardonnay to get your full bodied kicks. — 10 years ago
I like this one awesome with my steak dinner and salad featuring salty olives. Medium tannins, ripe to baked red berries and stone fruits. Dry dry dry 13% nice balance. The finish makes it worth the $14 i spent! — 10 years ago
This is a powerful wine that has the ability to take me away to a place full of the nectar of any tropical fruit I could imagine, endless servings of creme brulee and the smell of a wood fire, just put out, smoldering underneath everything. This effort from Uruguay deserves a standing ovation and I urge all the sweet wine drinkers to take a step out on the wild side and check out my homeboy Carrau and his family wine. You won't be disappointed! — 9 years ago
OK, so after a recent tempranillo tasting, i have decided it just doesn't impress me much in general. No further comment... — 10 years ago
I can't say much. I drank it. It wasn't offensive, it wasn't very memorable. I'm waiting to be wowed by a Spanish wine — 10 years ago
2012 Vintage - Super smooth and well integrated from malolactic fermentation in the barrel. Candied sour cherries show up big on the nose, more cherries and dried raspberry on the palette along with high acidity make this a very pleasant bottle to enjoy next to some Manchego cheese and Quince paste. Aged 12 months in French Oak, it has a slight orange tint and a cloudy appearance, probably because it is Demeter Certified Biodynamic... Decant this wine and drink with a big smile on your face, you made an awesome selection! — 9 years ago
Perfect for the light curry goat i was tasting, just the right amount of sugar to balance the spice of the dish, a light effervescence typical of Vinho Verde, taste of red berries, gently high acidity splashes around in my mouth in the seductive red berry and cherry flavors i adore from my favorite rosés! A big winner with the homies who enjoy sweeter wines and are ready to experience wine with food as a joint thing! — 10 years ago
I only know i drank it because there is a picture. Not very memorable at all. — 10 years ago

Buttery, creamy, bright acidity, tropical fruits, toasted nuts, coats the tongue in butter. Lovely for the style, not as flabby as some chards can be. Very nice — 8 years ago
