Fantastic. Clover, honey, chamomile on the nose, dry — alcohol is a little sharp, and the acid is chilled out. But lovely drinking. — 5 years ago
Very good pinot from New York. Respect. — 5 years ago
I like it, but the reduction note is a tad overpowering. — 6 years ago
Maybe it’ll age into something more exciting, but right now this is just a good, balanced (despite the high alcohol), somewhat oaky pinot in the $60 range, and you can get something as enjoyable, if not moreso, for half the price. — 5 years ago
You know, it was good, but those was wasn’t everything I was hoping for. It smelled a little too volatile for me. Still enjoyed it. — 5 years ago
Fucking lovely. Still has acid and structure but mellowed with lots of dried fruit. Drink the 2010 now. — 6 years ago
Good. Has a minty, herbal thing. I generally associate with cab. Paired well with some lamb. — 5 years ago
The 2016 is a little higher in alcohol and oakier, by Nalle’s standards. Still very good. — 5 years ago
Everything you want in a chenin. Cut grass, big acid and mineral body, but also with a slight reductive note for depth. Drank it with a pear/ham/shallot tarte salee and lentil salad, felt French AF. — 5 years ago
