It would be tough for me to choose between Cakebread's 1999 and 2005 Benchland Select as my favorite vintage from the winery. I think Wine Spectator has both years equally rated 90 plus. Elegant old world wine from California.

Always a quality red wine no matter what the year. Deep red color, touch of sweet, medium body, and lots of fruit. Was afraid of it being corked as there was red pulled up half the cork. I enjoyed. — 12 years ago
