Deep ruby red color with dark edges and aromas of dark fruit, dark berries and spice. On the palate ripe cherry, raspberry and blackberry with cacao, leather and oak. Rich mouth fee with smooth tannins, complex with the fruit and gentle acidity. The ending had the right touch of oak. Went great with my porterhouse.

Urf. This is just not good. Acid-free, no structure, what feel like added tannins, and nothing to taste but blackberry and oak-chocolate. Indistinguishable from the dozens of $20 California cabs I taste every week. Either this used to be a lot better when it first appeared or my palate drift is more pronounced than previously suspected.

Opaque deep red color with intense black fruit in the nose. Heavy rich fruit on entry with complex overtones of oak, blackberries, and other black fruits.
