Buy again. Not dry. Hint o spice — 2 years ago
Syrah base. Grilled steak, black fruit, leather, pepper. Quite tasty and will do better in a couple years. — 10 months ago
Wowza. Now that’s a grosses gewachs.
Nose is intensely mineral almost smoky. So dense. As it opens less dense and more floral. White flowers.
Palate is densely mineral. Gods lemon. So good. A 9.5 on open. As it opens more of a sweet elegance. Approaching Faust test levels.

Berries and cherries on the fruit foward wine. Refined finish. Paired with ribeye streaks. — 8 months ago
Faust pinot noir różowe z reinghau. Leciutkie, w nosie delikatnie truskawki, w ustach konsekwentne. Niezbyt wyraziste, jako aperitif bardzo przyzwoite — 8 months ago
Great Cab blend. Love Faust Cabernet but this adds another level — 2 years ago
"Odedi"
It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Inky in color with a short purple rim.
Strong nose of black fruits with chocolate notes, cedar, vanilla and cola.
Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cooked plums, cedar, tobacco, vanilla, licorice, cola, coffee, black pepper, dried figs, graphite, light earth, herbs and spices.
Long spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This 6 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Coombsville is drinking beautifully now. Big and bold. Rich and extracted.
Well balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Fruit forward and elegant, with great complexity, especially on the palate.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.
I've had a few vintages of this wine and it always delivers. This 2019 vintage is drinking much better now than it was two years ago. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Wine Spectator 93 points. Robert Parker 93 points.
A good sipping wine that will pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
14.8% alcohol by volume.
93 points.
