bouquet of rose, lychee, ripe peach, ripe white pear, fruit cocktail...palate added ripe apricot, bitter almond skins, under-ripe pineapple, lime, lots of wet stone. This was soooo dry compared to an Alsatian gewurtz that i was a bit disappointed... — 8 years ago
Time has done a lot here...very soft and mellow for a xinomavro- fruit and earth are well balanced. i was expecting more agression. — 8 years ago

luxurious. wet stone, stonefruit, faint grass floating on buttercream. — 8 years ago
intense minerality on the nose gives way to beautifully focused buttery onion stones... cool wet rock all throughout the finish- but padded with cream. yum. — 8 years ago
smells of stewed plums, red apples, redcurrants, wood...on the palate: blah. just tastes like a basic California red blend- not much like cab franc. — 8 years ago
smells of grapefruit, guava, pineapple, stone, white flowers....tastes rich and floral-buttery but still acidic...reminiscent of some chenin blancs. — 8 years ago
smells of white flowers, lime, juniper, tropical fruits.... but subdued. on there is lots of resin and stone fruit. very dry. The resinous quality also comes across as juniper....unusual to see straight muscat of alexandria from sicily. — 8 years ago
aromas of wood, wet potting soil, blackcurrant, brambles, black plums, sour black cherries
...this is dark and ripe with nice acidity. Definitely more fruity and less vegetal than your average loire cab franc. — 8 years ago

nose gives red and black fruits and earth, faint vegetal and animal notes....on the tongue it has a nice candied licorice quality along with the earthiness. acid and fruit are well-balanced. — 8 years ago
