Classic Brunel love! The 1998 drinking perfectly and showing its age with grace and beautiful finish! Kudos to the folks at Winebow! — 7 years ago
Absolutely stunning bottle of wine! Tell Mr. O that I owe him one! Top drawer and seemingly at its peak, but who knows! I want a case! 9.5 — 7 years ago
This was 2000 vintage consumed in Jan., 2019. OMG! Perfectly cellared and probably the best bottle (magnum) of Bordeaux I’ve had in 15 years. My thanks to the somm at Alain duCasse for the introduction, and to Steve Rayman, formerly of B-21, for making it available at retail. And, of course, to my friends at Stacole! Yummm...! — 6 years ago
This wine is drinking really well, with the classic elements of the best Beaune fruit, coupled with faint elements of tannic backbone. Probably has another 10 years in it, but a stunner now! Gotta get more! — 7 years ago
Touch of fruit on the front (still), with earth and age on the back. Amazing! 9.7 — 7 years ago
The 1991, with 27 years on it, is a stunner. Going to brown on the rim, but with good fruit remaining and some tannins left. Earthiness does predominate, but still rounded enough to show amazingly well! A testament to the wine maker, as well as the importer and distributor! All in all, an amazing 9.5 , even as it approaches the 30 year mark! Yummm...! KNJ — 6 years ago
Fantastic and rich, and pairs perfectly with white truffle pasta at Antica Posta in Atlanta! Grazie, Marco. 9.5 — 7 years ago
Nose stellar but not showing 17 yrs of age on the palate. Still, yumm... — 7 years ago

This stunning GSM , cellared for 16 years, drank perfectly with lamb! Smooth tannins worked with tobacco, cedar, and leather, for a truly great sensation on nose and palate. Why we cellar good wines! — 4 years ago
