A bit sweet and yet dry for my taste, it did benefit from some breathing, but just. — 8 years ago
Just a flat and fruit forward, backward wine. I suspect this has been on the shelf wayyyyy too long. If you are at a big box store and see this, just let it go, because it has already left the building. — 7 years ago
Always one of our favorite wines in the bargain department. Jammy and semi-sweet red blend that goes with a wide variety of foods. — 8 years ago
This was a gift and turned out to actually be a good one! Enjoyed it with a BBQ dinner and family.
Not a big hitter as far as cabs go, but very balanced and has a smooth finish. Good choice to serve for a gathering of varied palates which may not be up for a full bodied cab but still appreciate a well crafted wine. — 8 years ago
2013- Unfortunately this one doth not profit from the passage of time. A bit over the top on bite with full force grape through and through. Hopefully other years are not similarly afflicted. — 8 years ago
Very mellow little Malbec. Another good offering from Mendoza! — 8 years ago
I don't know much about Italian wines, but I do know what I like. This is one of the best amongst the few I've sampled.
It does benefit from some air time, awakening the smoother side of the fruit notes which play center stage.
For sporting a light to medium body it really paired well with spicy tamales.

Surprisingly rich body for a Shiraz. Had this with some peppered steak and it was delicious. Don’t know how well it would stand alone but it paired nicely with the meal. — 5 years ago
