Carmenere from Chile. Tried this one in class and I believe was one of my first wines from Chile. Nose and taste of dark fruit (cherry), oak, smoke, and peppercorn. Had an interesting ruby color. Good! — a month ago
Nerello Mascalese. Another really interesting and different varietal from Sicily. Nose: Cherry, leather. Taste: sour cherry and plum. Paired well with spicy pizza.  — a month ago
Cool and different style of red. Bought on Last Bottle as a mystery bottle. Pleasantly surprised with this GSM style blend but with Tempranillo. Nose and taste, light fruit, ripe strawberries. Medium bodied. — a month ago
White Bordoux. Nose and taste: citrus, lime, grapefruit, pineapple? Easier drinker for lunch went well with salad and sweets. Enjoyed in a fun and different spot in New York City.  — a month ago
Different type of red from Umbria. Nose and taste of red fruit, particularly strawberry and rhubarb. Started off a bit dry but opened up nicely. Paired well with pizza and grilled veg. — a month ago
Chardonnay from burgundy. I’ve seen this bottle around in a couple of stores and I always wanted to try it. Nose and taste of tropical, fruit, peach, melon. Nice finish and light golden color. Good with fish. — a month ago
Red blend 2023. Nose and taste: dark fruit, mocha, smoke. Full body to very good red paired well with beef meatballs. Definitely got a lot of smoke and leather at the beginning, but then it sort of mellowed out with time which was really nice.  — a month ago
Pinot Noir from Burgundy. Nose and taste, strawberry, cherry, mushroom? Has an interesting earthiness. Really nice flavor and finish and would definitely buy again. — a month ago
CNDP 2017 Magnum. Different format bottle and was very good. Definitely a wine that needs time to breathe. Became much much better after being open 30 to 45 minutes. Nose: dark fruit, menthol? Taste: plum, cherry, high acidity. — a month ago
