Delicious tempranillo. Dark purple with signs of great aging. Great flavors of plums, blackberries, mint, oak and vanilla. In mouth, good acidity and tannins, well balanced, mid-body, blackberries, tar, mint and mid end in mouth. Great price x benefit option. Great Barolo!! 2013 vintage was fantastic. Red ruby with signs of aging in perfect conditions. At nouse, red berries, mint, very subtle oak and leather. In mouth, great acidity and tannins, characteristics of the nebbiolo, ripe fruits, some freshness, kind of clay/soil taste, mint, well balanced with strong and delicious end in mouth. In mouth, delicious/potent acidity and tannins, strawberry, cherry, mint, little oak, mint and more fruity than regular Barolo but super well balanced and with great potential to age. Great value Barolo from a fantastic vintage. 2013 had the perfect conditions and was considered 5 stars.
I think it has all of the main Barolo characteristics, acidity, tannins, full body, complexity, tar and well balance. What is different in this one was the copper color (which for a 2013 vintage is not expected) and it is more fruity than the average Barolos. Pretty pleasent in mouth and gets better after 45 mins to an hour. Enjoy this beauty :) — 7 years ago

Fantastic blend of 85% Cab.Franc and 15% Malbec.
Bright purple with smoked flavors, dark berries, peppermint and a bit mineral.
In mouth, mid to full bodied, great acidity and round tannins, dark berries, a bit of wood, some freshness and long/delicious end in mouth. Super well balanced and evolved amazingly during 2 hours...always improving. — 7 years ago

Very interesting and surprising wine (considering the connection to the Lafite shouldn’t be a surprise :)
Dark ruby shine color. Great nose with blackberries compote, mint and smoked capsicum.
In mouth, well balanced with mid body, decent acidity/tannins, black cherries, fresh (somehow), great/balanced fruitness, even better after 1 hours with more “bouquet” and delicious end in mouth. — 7 years ago
