Barolo Nebbiolo

Great value Barolo from a fantastic vintage. 2013 had the perfect conditions and was considered 5 stars.
I think it has all of the main Barolo characteristics, acidity, tannins, full body, complexity, tar and well balance. What is different in this one was the copper color (which for a 2013 vintage is not expected) and it is more fruity than the average Barolos. Pretty pleasent in mouth and gets better after 45 mins to an hour. Enjoy this beauty :)

Good value, especially on sale. High tannin.

Orange on the edge, seems advanced in age. Still big fruit, cherries, rose. Leather

Amber orange color on the edges. Medium tears. Earth, minerals, and cranberries on the nose. On the palate, cranberry, pomegranate, minerals. High tannin, medium acid. Very nice.

Medium tannins, tastes of dark fruit and a little char (tobacco?). Color is more brown or bronze than expected. Delicious and worked surprisingly well with paella.

Cherry, rose, strawberry, light tobacco licorice. High acid, cranberry. Good structure. Good value.

The bottle I bought was corked.

I'm all about the memory and this left me with very few. Maybe that's a good thing.
