MP: First bottle at Avondale Wine and Cheese in Charleston South Carolina. Very strong notes. Very tight flavor in a champagne flute. Definitely opens up in a wine glass but almost goes flat.

MP: Great find at High Time, Costa Mesa. Has tones of lemon and apple. A little yeasty but not overwhelming. Great bottle to start out and night on the coast. 7-25-17

MP: A classic of classics...Chartogne! Very light and nutty on the back end. A great bottle rediscovered. Great bubble!

MP: second bottle. Much richer and more of a yeasty and doughy feel to it. A little on the heavy side definitely a stronger bubble.

MP: Thomas follow to be a bit tart but strong and bright on the same note. Great quality if you are into Pinot Noir and a few bright notes

MP: @Studio Montage. A very unexpected find. If Pinot meunier is your thing, then this is the one for you. Pretty good bubble and is a tad heavy. Definitely take a chance on this one.

MP: a very interesting bottle from a house that has amazing champagne. The most intriguing thing is the lime and tangy aftertaste. Not something expected from Chartogne. A pleasant change. Looking forward to trying another bottle.

AS: sharp and bright. Very lemon and tangy. Very different from all the other chartogne bottles. Definitely on the top five, a different bottle done elegantly well...day drinking bottle... ed sheeran 2017 — 8 years ago

MP: Very nice blanc de blanc. Light with a very coarse bubble. Hints of fruit with a slight nutty back-end.
