Intense, strong berry flavor, a lot of tannins, with a sharp high note. Needs a good amount of time to breath. Would pair well with red meat, game and/or heavy cheeses. — 10 years ago
Beautiful! A massive dry, pepper punch when it first hits your tongue and finishes smoothly. — 10 years ago
My god! Where have you been all my life? Beautiful! — 10 years ago
Nice. Nothing outstanding but makes a lovely table wine. — 10 years ago
It was good. Nothing out of this world but a good table wine. — 11 years ago
Could use another year but damn good and a classic :-D — 11 years ago
Smells like feet when you open it. However, your first taste is bold and full of intense flavor. There are a lot of deep layers to this wine. Definitely one to be enjoyed with dessert. Almost a too sweet to be eaten with a meal. — 10 years ago
Dark, earthy with some heavy woody flavors. Not my favorite Bordeaux/Cab I've ever had. — 10 years ago
Beautiful, balanced with a wonderful clean finish. Give it some time to breath before having your first taste. The flavors need a moment to flourish. — 10 years ago
Mat Strote
Perfect for a nice dinner at home with a significant other. Dry but not too dry with a hint of sweet that slowly dissolves off the tongue. I love it. — 10 years ago
