Had the honor of tasting this with the wonderful Rosemary Cakebread herself. Just a great wine. Full of smoke and cured pork with the perfect balance of fruit and acidity. — 10 years ago
The '12 is outstanding. First vintage of estate fruit. High percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon gives it muscle but it's graceful at the same time. Black fruit, cocoa and coffee. Subtle oak. Just gorgeous. — 10 years ago
2012 Finn. Possibly one of the best RRP I've ever had. So much earth on the nose followed by beautiful floral notes and soft red fruits. More Burgundy than California. — 10 years ago
Only made in great vintages. '06 was the last. Awesome stuff. Still zippy after 9 years. — 10 years ago
Was lucky enough to drink this with Mr. Foley himself. This wine rocked! Muscular yet graceful. Pepper and leather. This is going on our wine list very soon. — 10 years ago
Les Claypool is in the wine game now, and it's awesome. Single vineyard Sonoma Pinot with lush fruit and subtle earth, barnyard notes. Soft but complex. Better than Pork Soda. — 10 years ago
Velvet in a glass. Exquisite nose packed with cocoa, coffee, and red fruit. Lush on the palate. One of the best wines I've had in a while. — 10 years ago
WS Top 100. Good value. Young but drinking well. Fresh strawberries and raspberries. Medium bodied with silky tannins and smooth finish. — 10 years ago
