Fruit, fruit, fruit. Classic Beaujolais nose, garnet purple robe, agreeably fresh with cherry like notes - crying out for lunch. — 8 years ago
Concentrated Pinot fruit constrained by tannic grip. Berry fruit bouquet. Quite hard on the palate, ie needs food to soften it out. — 6 years ago
Possibly the worst wine I have ever encountered - any fruit that lurks in this concoction is completely masked by an oak overload that is reminiscent of the timber yard. Obviously popular but I fail to understand why. — 8 years ago
Easily the best irancy I've ever had, this one is 100% Pinot noir. Good extract, quite dark in colour which is rare from this appellation. Good depth of flavour, fruit, classic minerality plus an enduring finish tie this wine together; pricey for an irancy, but anything from V. Dauvissat is a always worth a punt. — 8 years ago
Stylishly mineral and satisfying. Accomplished and pleasing. 2015 vintage — 6 years ago
Generally not a fan of chenin but this is among the best I’ve encountered. It has a beautiful mouth feel, opulence with vivacity. — 6 years ago
This was absolutely delicious, having an elegantly rich freshness with good depth of flavour. The ideal world would have us sipping this in three or four years time when I confidently predict that it will reach it's apogee. Pricey: €52,00 ht — 8 years ago

Hard not to recommend this one. Entry level burgundy that is performing way above it’s status . Excellent wine. — 5 years ago
