This Montrose 2004 at Didier Meril in Dinard was gorgeous. Beautifully mature, loads of fruit, complex, balanced, nuanced - great wine — 5 years ago

Exceptional wine. Opened at Cheval Blanc in August 2019. Incredible nose - beautiful violets and floral perfume. It goes on and on and keeps bringing me back to it. The wine is fresh, full, complex, ethereal. Surreal experience and highlight of the trip for me. — 5 years ago

Punching way above its price tag. This is a lovely ripe Bordeaux blend from SA. — 5 years ago
Old school classic claret. This is as always a great value option. Loads of dark fruit, slightly edgy tannins, tobacco and smoke. Still very tannic, old school style. — 5 years ago
Wasn’t expecting too much from this « vingeron » vintage but was pleasantly surprised. Soft tannins, smooth, dark berries, tobacco leaves and a Hint mint. Drinking really well at the moment. — 5 years ago
Nice wine, loads of dark and blue berries, plum, ripe fruit. It’s very drinkable but a touch too alcoholic (for my taste) — 5 years ago

We actually had the 09 but waitress couldn’t find the bottle. Had at La Dominique’s restaurant in St Emilion this is a ripe, modern, lush wine with loads of dark fruit and coffee. Lacked complexity but very moreish — 5 years ago
