Just for the curiosity. This is way too young but full of promise. Dark purple. On nose this is full of dark fruits, herbs, cedar and licorice. On palate this is youthfully upfront as expected. There is nice balance with deep ripe fruits, acidity and fine tannins making a solid appearance. Give this 3-5 years and you are in for a treat if I think this continues to drink well for another decade after that — 3 years ago

Interesting Metodo Classico sparkler made of Lambrusco Marani. Ie dry Lambrusco I quess. 2019 with decorgment 11/2021, 4g/l, 5000 bottles made. Pale rose, quite fruity and rich nose with slight hint of toast. Kind of reminds of Lambrusco. On palate this has loads of red toned fruit, quite form acidity and suprisingly delicate mousse. Worked quite well with different pizzas. Don't drink too cold as it tames the fruit. I think one should wait a year to see where this goes. Lot of wine for a 10€ — 3 years ago

Deep purple. On the nose this is full of black plums, blueberries, lemon pith and sweet oak that blows off after 30min. On palate this has fresh tangy note combined with medium+ acidity and fine grained if frim tannins giving backbone and frame to ample amount of dark concentrated fruit. Medium length that turns bright cherry and gum drying tannins. This needs food or 2-3 years more time but boy is there plenty of wine for less than 13€/bottle — 4 years ago

Bright copper hue. Nose is full of sweet red berries, spices and bit savory tang that reminds of the Sangiovese. On palate this is juicy and bright with nice lenght that build towards the end. Light tannins gives nice spicyness to the end. Very pleasant Rose that has brightness of being for a sipper but enough concentration for lighter fare like Pizzas or warm salads with grilled chicken or salmon. Great stuff — 3 years ago

Even 2010 was not as good vintage as in Barolo there are still excellent Barbarescos like this one. Nose screams Nebbiolo with ripe red berries, rose, some pine and licorice. On palate the wine does not quite match the nose but has nice sweet fruit that is hold by the midweight body. Tannins are still obvious and bit sandy with acidity that further supports the freshness. Finnish is just a tad short but regardless this is fully satisfying Barbaresco from one of the top producers — 3 years ago

Dark purple. Nose is full of ripe cherry. Red berries, lemon pith and sweet spices. On palate this is plush and fruit forward, again cherries, granberry, some plum and pepper. Tannins mount towards the end adding firmness. Nice balanced acidity. This is excellent wine for grilled meats and veggies. — 3 years ago

Nose is full of gravel, wet stone, spices and pear. On palate this marries nicely with rich fruit and acidity keeping the palate firm and fresh. Green apples, mineral veins and hint of white pepper. This is one excellent white wine for grilled fish. Great qpr — 3 years ago

Nice bit larger scaled Alvarinho made with combination of skin contact, wood and lees aging and is shows. Nose and palate is rich with lemon, fully ripe apple, wet stone, hints of toast / oak, slight oxidative note and towards the end also tannins that creep up on your gums. Best around 12degrees as letting it cool more makes the wine flat. Went nicely with assorted sushi — 3 years ago

Opened to selebrate the Global Champagne Day. 100% Chardonnay from Vertus, Epernay, Pierry, Dizy, Mardeuil thus the name Quintette. Made from with vines ranging 36 to 71 years. 2016 vintage with 20% vin de Solera. Discorged Feb/2020 with 2g/l dosage. This is BdB with quite some substance, richness and energy. Both the nose and palate greets with toasty/brioche notes complemeted by mineral and flowery cents. Initially bit tightly wound but when you let it open it turns to beautiful and highly enjoyable BdB Champagne — 4 years ago
