Bone dry, super tasty

Opened to selebrate the Global Champagne Day. 100% Chardonnay from Vertus, Epernay, Pierry, Dizy, Mardeuil thus the name Quintette. Made from with vines ranging 36 to 71 years. 2016 vintage with 20% vin de Solera. Discorged Feb/2020 with 2g/l dosage. This is BdB with quite some substance, richness and energy. Both the nose and palate greets with toasty/brioche notes complemeted by mineral and flowery cents. Initially bit tightly wound but when you let it open it turns to beautiful and highly enjoyable BdB Champagne

Deg. Oct 2018. 2015 based (80%), 20% solera. Five terroirs: Vertus, Epernay, Pierry, Dizy, Mardeuil

2015 base wine. Full bodied BdB, addressing the fruity side of this grape and terroirs

Not as complex as I expected but very finessed. If anything lacking slightly in complexity. Perhaps something to try over time w more development
