Really solid, refreshing French Chardonnay with crisp, acidic fruit flavors and not a trace of butter to be found. For the price, around $13, this was delicious.
Fascinating umami/savory flavors with a nose that keeps evolving. Everything from olives, smoked meats and soy sauce, to citrus peels and blackberries can be found within. The smooth, untuous mouthfeel is matched by a lingering finish with a strangely grippy note at the very end -- I can't quite identify it, but it had me going back for more... A uniquely pleasurable wine, if you like more savory Syrahs.
