Medium-deep ruby. Ripe blue and black berries with a little spice. A hint of perceived sweetness, low-medium acid, low fine and tight tannins, and rich fruit on the palette. Juicy, acidic, and warm on the finish. Lengthy, fairly delicious, with a lot of fruitiness throughout. — 12 years ago

Pale gold straw. Sweet peach and citrus mixed with floral herbaceousness. Dry, high acid. Light white fruit with some sour apple. Strong acid on the finish with lingering warmth. Crisp and drying. A pleasant wine. — 12 years ago

Garnet ruby, medium-deep color. Extremely herbaceous with currant-like black fruit on the nose. I've seen other reviews say tobacco and chalk and I can see where they're getting that. Tastes of ripe dark fruits with fine chalky tannin, low acidity, and good minerality. Medium-light bodied. Finishes very balanced with fruit, acid, tannin, warmth, and that herbaceous note. Delicious. Very interesting wine. Some air definitely brings out the best of it, second glass was better than the first. — 12 years ago

Deep ruby in color with a hint of purple. Very aromatic. Fruit forward black raspberry and cherry. Touch of herb and spice with very little mineral notes. Dry, touch of acid, and very little tannin. Medium bodied with red fruit and warmth dominating the palette. Finishes smooth with moderate length of fruit and alcohol. Tasty, but not impressive. ~$14. — 13 years ago

Medium-light ruby with a slight garnet hue. Low aromatics, blackberry and plum mixed with a touch of oak, smoke, and spice. Dry, medium acidity, moderate and smooth tannin with berries and minerality. Ripe fruit on a woodsy and very drying, fairly lingering finish. Very decent wine in a style I can enjoy. — 12 years ago

8.3

Deep ruby, hint of purple. Fruit forward, blackberries, raspberries. Undertones of earth and spice. Light-medium bodied. Low-medium acid, low fine tannin. Dark ripe grape and berry fruit, acid, earth, and warmth on the finish. Medium length. Good for sipping, doesn't necessarily beg for food, but would probably go well with most flavorful things. — 12 years ago
