One of my favorite rosés this year! Bright acidity, strawberry, raspberry, minerals and a lovely herbal quality on the finish. Planning to explore more from ESJ. — 9 years ago
Light red fruit, green herbs, earth, a little bit of funkiness, and decent acid on the finish. First taste of red wine from Jura. — 9 years ago
Wow! This wine seriously evolved over 4 hours in the bottle. At first it was earthy and somewhat closed off. A couple hours later the fruit, barnyard and umami qualities really bloomed. Light, smooth tannins, bright acid, wonderfully savory. I'm impressed. — 9 years ago
Bright acidity, tart raspberry and black cherry, grapefruit zest, a touch of wood and spices. Elegant and delicious! — 9 years ago
Ethereal, transporting, focused, and rough. Iron, graphite, forest, fog, and cold air, layered with saline, acid, spice and berries. Super earthy on day one. Fruitier on day two. Impression = intellectually challenging but in the end, rewarding. — 9 years ago
First impression is that it's hot! Alcohol burn on top of beautiful flavors of dark fruit, chocolate and brambles. It tastes well made, but the alcohol is putting me off a bit. — 9 years ago
Loved this wine! Light body, bright fruit and acid with savory/herbal notes to make it complex and satisfying. — 9 years ago
Delightfully sour, perfectly carbonated, grassy and citrusy. Positively chuggable! — 9 years ago
Spectacular. On day one: vanilla, oak, toasted marshmallow, pineapple, mango, lemon zest, wet stones. Creamy texture and searing acidity. Hedonistic but brought into balance by fruit and acid. On day two, the vanilla dissipated and some green and floral notes came out. Overall, an incredible experience. — 9 years ago

Much leaner than last year. Bright acid, steely minerality, lemon, flowers. Beautiful balance and elegance. — 9 years ago
