Making Pinot in the Willamette Valley since 2006.
I chose this bottle for dinner bc it's from an overripe vintage. True to its reputation, it is flat and grapey and a little cloudy. Still, a respectable amount of acid for the hot year of 2003. — 9 years ago
Rosé time! Green notes on the nose and palate. I'm guessing 6-7 % RS? It's a Cab Franc, so green notes make sense, but gets in the way of the crispness that Rosé should express. — 9 years ago
Smokey, underbrush, leesy, a little buttered popcorn on the nose. — 9 years ago
VT 2000. Riper than I thought it would be, even a little flabby and sweet. Don't remember that being a particularly hot vintage. Still good earth, leather, smoke... — 9 years ago
Outstanding Brett Saison from Logsdon, Hood River. Oregon. Bretty, not sour, balanced. Watch out Funkwerks! — 10 years ago
Slightly pinker than an eye of pheasant. Good mid-palate depth, some herbal character. Nice length with candied lavender and Rosemary. — 9 years ago
