On the nose new oak aromas: vanilla, smoked wood, wet leaves. On the palate, ripe sour cherries. Balanced, smooth pleasant tannins, medium body, medium (+) acidity. Perfect with white meat or cheese, or even stand alone. Can benefit from a bit of ageing, but happy to drink now as well :) — 9 years ago
Cassis, blackcurrent, black peper, cooked plums and figs. An explosion of flavours, with a long finish, high alcohol and tannin. Could be aged a couple of more years in the cellar. But beautiful and rich. — 10 years ago

This is the most aweful sparkling wine from France I have ever tasted. It had a nose of paraffin wax with a lychee taste. Seriously, for a charmant method wine (tank method) within the same price range, I would chose Prosecco without blinking. And i would definitely enjoy it more. — 9 years ago
