On the nose new oak aromas: vanilla, smoked wood, wet leaves. On the palate, ripe sour cherries. Balanced, smooth pleasant tannins, medium body, medium (+) acidity. This is the most aweful sparkling wine from France I have ever tasted. It had a nose of paraffin wax with a lychee taste. Seriously, for a charmant method wine (tank method) within the same price range, I would chose Prosecco without blinking. And i would definitely enjoy it more. — 9 years ago
