Light bodied fruity easy quaffing wine , red berries. — 7 years ago
Superb wine at this price point. Sulfur smells are not pleasant on opening but after half an hour they burn off. Intriguing combination of red raspberry/cherry fruit with deep licorice and fennel flavors. Great acidity and mild tannins. Buy buy buy. — 7 years ago
Costco $18 approx. medium bodied, juicy red and dark fruit. — 7 years ago

Pleasant nose of cedar and dark cherries, and maybe dark chocolate, hough not much more than that. Flavors are similar but with surprisingly good acidity and structure. Soft tannins and a bit hot. At under $20, this is better than I expected it to be for a Cal cab. Good wine with a juicy steak if you don’t need a lot of finesse. Costco. — 7 years ago
Young and tight, but a huge bottle of wine and amazing value. Nose is restrained out of the bottle. Medium red fruit, spice, leather. Lots of tannin structure but good with hearty food already. Big and juicy. Should be superb in a couple of years. — 7 years ago
Not up to snuff. Confused barnyardy aromas that translate to slightly rotten flavors in the mouth. Flaccid finish evaporated quickly. — 7 years ago
Inky dark in the glass. Barnyard and geraniums on initial opening. Coffee, dark chocolate, dark fruits on the nose, but fairly restrained. Beautiful sweet dark cherry fruit with a lovely balance of tannin and acidity in the mouth. Drink now or in a year or two. — 7 years ago
Pleasant nose of light strawberries and toast, but completely insipid in the mouth. I’ve had great Oakridge Pinots and think they are good value. This is not a bad wine, but it lacks any depth beyond its nose. I won’t buy this one again. — 7 years ago

Dramatic label. Underwhelming wine. Soft and lacking structure or much interest — 7 years ago
