85 percent montepulciano, 15 aglianico: soft and smooth, but with sour cherry appearing in the long finish.

Medium bodied, very dry on opening then softened out. Bright fruit -cherries, plum some spice. Campomarino region on Adriatic coast. Montelpuciano and aglianico blend. Yum. Great with food. This was a 2012.

Deep purple. Has that rustic Montepulciano character. Aglianico seems to give it some tannins and a taste of currants.
