Getting some oak/ alcohol on the nose, though oak really isn’t a valtellina thing. The mouth is light, fruit( cherry, tart wild berry) and some earthiness). Light tannins, very approachable wine. Had this with sausage risotto and was excellent. — 8 days ago
This was a very good rose. Beautiful nose, waves of strawberry, light and fresh, nice long finish. I usually avoid labels like this- glad I didn’t. — 9 days ago

Chocolate strikes me first. Blackberries and blueberries, a little clove, nice finish. Tannins are in check. Very pleasant. — 4 days ago
This is terrific. Majority picotendro, the local clone of Nebbiolo, along with 3 local grapes I’ve never heard of. An earlier review listed them, if you’re curious. This is an alpine Nebbiolo. Light, slightly sour cherry/ raspberry with a wee bit of earthiness. A mouthful of flavor. Tannins are there but integrated pretty well. Will buy this again. Think it was @$18! — 6 days ago

Nice change up. Not my thing, normally. Cloudy, fizzy, got that yeasty funk, almost a grainy nose to it. Apparently it’s made with organic Lacrima grapes, a very distinct- tasting red grape that only grows in Le Marches. I wouldn’t have recognized the grape in this, however — 4 days ago
Very fruity. Strawberry, raspberry, and some gravel. More fruit depth than many beaujulais I’ve had. — 8 days ago
Big, plum, brambles, tobacco, licorice and some gritty tannins. Almost chewy, great length on this. Really opened up after a few hours. So good with grilled porterhouse. — 9 days ago

Lots of dark fruit in the nose, and a bit of what smells like cinnamon. Plum, dark cherry, leather. Dusty tannins coat the mouth. At 13%; lots of flavor and depth. Enjoyed with bucatini and sauce made with garden tomatoes. — 3 hours ago
