Initially picked up vanilla notes but on closer examination this was rather a sweet fruity and woody smell from the old oak cask. Fantastic fresh flavour full of summer red fruits: black currant, strawberry, plumb but not too heavy. Medium viscosity and full body with light tannins and an iron finish. Very drinkable! — 6 years ago
Very smooth 2015 pinotage. Mulberry and blackberry smells. A little oaky taste with soft tannins with some notable spice. Strong medium body wine with alcohol levels at 14.3%. — 6 years ago
Complexity on the nose with apricot and stone fruit notes. Full body with vanilla oak and apple flavour and light acidity. High viscosity and some mild oily texture. — 6 years ago
New oak smell. Some spicy and fruity notes. High acidity and viscosity. Pronounced tannins. Easy drinker for 13.5%. — 6 years ago
Not bad, medium body Pinot Noir. Noticeable tannins, not too sweet and medium acidity and low viscosity. If enjoying with food, probably needs to be paired with something greasy like a ribeye or oily fish. — 6 years ago
Very enjoyable and versatile. Tannins medium minus, fairly fruity and sweet but low acidity. Highly recommended. — 7 years ago
