2nd half of breaking the fast of dry January. Another Ted Lemon triumph - superb 'entry level' Sonoma pinot that wrapped a lamb fillet in velvet. — 10 years ago
Away from the usual 'Billy' style with age in wood - but firmly at the usual Billy quality level. Lovely. — 10 years ago
Totally classic Chianti - bitter cherry and earth (in a good way!). Added richness of the vintage. Lovely. — 10 years ago
Big wine. Richness fills the mouth with fruit and texture. — 10 years ago
Good value, fruity fun fizz. Excellent warm-up material. — 10 years ago
Not bottled until March '13 and minimal interventions gives such a big rural smell and taste, but still smooth, almost velvety. So interesting alone, but can cope with all big foods. — 10 years ago
Not bad at all. Good VFM and will buy a few bottles for pizza or pasta on a midweek night. Reflects basic Chianti pretty well - if you have just £6 to spend on a bottle then this is a really good option. — 10 years ago
Our traditional way to end dry January. Reliable and wonderful. Can't beat 'Billy' — 10 years ago
So superior to the 'airport' XOs at £100+ when this is only half that price. A small producer with zero marketing costs who produces superb cognac - if you're lucky enough to find it...just buy it! — 10 years ago

Totally outstanding. If you like Blanc de Blanc, extra brut style then this is for you. Does exactly as it says on the label. Gorgeous. — 9 years ago
