Is there a better value for Pinot Noir anywhere on earth? Please tell me if you find it. This is $20 and while it doesn't pretend to be a great wine,is very solid and varietally correct. Aromas of cherry, strawberry and a little vanilla. Very soft, smooth and velvety on entry, this is all,or more, than you should expect from a $20 Pinot. Go get some if you can find it. Hugely disappointing. Thin and hollow and yet did not seem faulty in any way. Just a limpid concoction of cranberry, beet and cherry juices. I can't imagine anyone ordering this in a restaurant if given the chance to taste first. — 5 years ago
Bordering on decadence. Rich dark fruit. Lots of varietal character. High alcohol not readily apparent. — 8 years ago
I had the 2016 at 3 years. A very sensible quaffer for the backyard barbecue. Rustic in style,as most Monastrells are from Jumilla. Dark and smoky, lots of generous fruit. Little length or midpalate, but good bang for the buck at only $15. — 5 years ago

Quite ordinary from this esteemed house. Some garrigue, herbs and dark fruits but little intensity or length. I was expecting more . Wouldn't buy this again. — 4 years ago
