Score factors in price, and this is hands-down the best QTP ratio in Nebbiolo year after year. Based in Roero, but they do bottle Baroli as well. Fresh red fruit, pronounced secondary character, great table wine. — 8 years ago
I'd always rather taste (drink) than read, but an absolute success in a less heralded vintage. Barbour/Welch, legendary. — 9 years ago
Solid still, drinking well like a lot of Bdx '04s from solid producers. Hard to say about a Pauillac nowadays, but it's very good for the price. — 8 years ago
Sweet jesus, that's delicious. Ripe, red fruit, rich in texture, tannin already integrated, long finish. — 8 years ago
All 15 vintages (98-12) Robert Foley Claret at lunch with Bob & Ivan in Ft. Worth. — 8 years ago

Anniversary wine with the Wife outta magnum. Really nice perfume of classic Napa Valley Cabernet--dried currant, kirsch, cedar, cigar box. Juicy and lush on palate. Still drinking very well but glad I didn't wait another 5yrs or so. — 8 years ago
