Good oak, great tannins...Paul Hobbs hit this Malbec out of the park. Price point is wonderful for the quality. Highly recommended. — 7 years ago

If you're into the thick, buttery, oaky chard, this is for you. It's good. Price point is decent. Well balanced. — 7 years ago

Wow. Very good blend. It doesn't say on the bottle but from the taste and location I'll guess Cabernet, Merlot, And Zin?

Heavy blueberry and cherry on the palate to begin...Very vanilla heavy on the nose. Great wine, and great for the price.

Very vanilla heavy with ripe berry. Got it on sale for $6.99 but wouldn’t pay full price for it again. — 7 years ago

Not sure what I’m missing? Very, very thin. A little bit of oak, both on nose and palate. Tiny bit of currant which disappeared the second it hit my tongue, along with the rest of the taste of the wine. Really not into this at all. — 7 years ago

Pleasantly surprised. Plum, some cedar, oak, and tannins make for a wonderful balanced medium to full bodied red blend. — 8 years ago

Pepper. Lava rock. Some vanilla, and almost cedar or tobacco/aged cigar. Possibly dried fruit like currant or plum thrown in there. Wonderfully complex. — 8 years ago

Very plum on the nose. On the palate I get lots and lots of berry. Maybe a tad of leather midway through, with plum and a bit of (vanilla maybe?) on the aftertaste. Not tannic whatsoever. A good wine. But not worth the price or too dissimilar from the regular label Josh Cab. Edit: I’ve allowed it to open up a little and I’m getting wonderful pepper notes. Vastly improved from first corkage. — 7 years ago

Decent. Bit of a leathery nose upon first corking. This gives way to chocolate nose, and also immediately on the palate. This rounds out to berry, plum on the back of the tongue. Definitely doesn't linger around long. Thin. — 7 years ago
