Incredibly bubbly champagne. — 8 years ago
Another bottle I bought playing Trader Joe's roulette. Really not bad for $7 (if I had paid more than $10, the rating would be lower) leather and ripe fruit aromas. Jammy. Cherries. Plum. Not much of a finish. — 7 years ago
Very agreeable value Spanish red. Earthy, dark berries, a little spice, dry, medium tannins. For $9, it's a wonderful, easy-drinking wine. Not the perfect pizza wine (which is what I'm having it with) but does the job. — 7 years ago
Cherries, strawberry, cedar - light bodied, crisp, dry red. — 8 years ago
Played wine roulette at Trader Joe's and brought home this Gruner - I think it was $4.99. It's a pleasant wine for this price. Lemon/lime , Apple, a hint of spice. If I had to buy many bottles for a party, this would do well at $5. — 7 years ago
Juicy 50 Merlot 50 Cab Sauv blend. Very drinkable. Ripe cherry, leather, nice tannins. — 8 years ago
Great wine. Went really well with filet mug on. Also worked with vegan mushroom ravioli. A little heavy on vanilla when first opened, but mellowed throughout the meal. Cherries and raspberries. Earthy. Took small amount in bottle home. Day 2 more spiciness came out and was really good with blue cheese. — 8 years ago

A semi-gem. $3.99 a bottle at the local liquor store that frequently has cases of wine from small regions for under $5 a bottle. This one from Moldova is worth buying again. After opening, it's a smooth wine with just ripe cherry and some plum. Fruit forward with little finish, but again $3.99. I'm thinking it would be a great for a beef bourguignon recipe. — 7 years ago
