Deep violet in color, this 100% cabernet sauvignon leads with an expressive nose of cigar box, baked fig compote and black currant. The palate has a stunning intensity, with layers of dark fruit, black cherry and savory dried herbs. Round, chewy tannins support the lingering mineral-driven finish.WINERY NOTES 98pts RP — 9 years ago
1981 Diamond Creek Gravelly Meadow Cabernet Sauvignon. Still great fruit on the nose. Great acidity on the palate. Opened up after about 30 minutes medium body, smooth tannins. Cigar box, leather and dark fruits. Medium plus finish. — 9 years ago
2012 Hartwell Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Stags Leap fruit is some of my favorite and this wine is no exception. Very young still bit can only imagine where it will be with some age. 95+ points Rp — 9 years ago
2009 Broman Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon #wineoftheday I love finds like this! I have been looking at this bottle for about a year now. Finally got a chance to try it. It was phenomenal! Beautiful dark fruit, cigar box, notes of leather. Tannins have smoothed out and it covers the entire palate. I looked into this wine and low and behold half the fruit comes from the Dr. Crane Vineyard and half comes from Broman's Deer Park Road Vineyard. At $85 a bottle this is an amazing find! — 9 years ago

2010 Pride Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. I absolutely love mountain fruit and this bottle is no exception. Drinking nicely right now but will only improve with age. Dark well concentrated fruit. Alcohol is nice and well integrated. Long finish, medium plus body. Highly recommend! 98pt Rp — 9 years ago
2014 Scribe Rose of Pinot Noir. One of my favorite Rose's. High acid, crisp refreshing and clean. — 9 years ago
2012 4 winds Cabernet Sauvignon from Thomas Rivers Brown. Fruit sourced from the Steltzner Vineyard in the Stags Leap District. This is by far one of my favorite wines from the 2012 vintage. Great fruit, medium plus body. On the palate Smokey red fruit, cigar box smooth tannins and creme de cassis. Long finish. Great food wine. There is passion in this bottle. Can't wait to see where this bottle goes with 5 to 10 years rest! — 9 years ago

1999 Pavilion Rouge Margaux. Not the best vintage for bordeaux but Margaux always delivers regardless — 9 years ago
