O.k. Enough of Gas Station Chardonnays, I get paid tomorrow! Franciscan Estate out of Napa produces a decent Chardonnay in the $11 - $15 dollar range with medium acidity, and a decent finish. After all, 2011 is a young wine. Pair it with Orange Roughy or another mild fish dish... — 12 years ago
This is my other "Go to" Chardonnay in the under $10 category, normally for $7.98 at SaveMart. Clos Du Bois makes a very consistent product year in and year out at a very affordable price! — 12 years ago
A nice limited production Chardonnay from the Foothill Vineyard of the Chalk Hill region of Sonoma County. It has a very clean finish. — 12 years ago
Nice and light. No oak, crisp finish. — 12 years ago
O.k. $6.99 at the Shell Gas Station, I know what you wine Rootie Poots are thinking... Delectable??? Hey, I even questioned my own palate here... I mean, I'd drink Silver Oak if I could afford it! But try it, it drinks like a wine twice the price. And besides, the label is well... Different? — 12 years ago
Yellow apple & pie spice with some minerality per the back label and a long finish. I concur, this is a very nice Chardonnay. — 12 years ago
Very smooth light citrus, subtle acidity, with an almost invisible finish. If you are looking for a refined Chardonnay without oak flavors, look no further, and priced right as well. — 12 years ago
One of my favorite Merlots! Very consistent. This wine has a very nice finish and is very nice with red meat dishes... — 12 years ago
