A gem from M Gros, proving if you know what you are looking for he can knock it out of the park for value. 2006 a ridiculous vintage - have yet to have a dud. — 5 years ago
This wine is always one of the best values in Champagne and a classic expression of the region. 2011 isn’t quite at the level of 2000, 2002, 2006 or 2008 but will improve with a few more years of bottle age and is still better than most champagnes at the price point. — 6 years ago
Signature Leroux accessibility coupled with honesty. 2014 could use a bit more time in bottle.

One of the greatest white Burgs I’ve ever had showing in a stunning state. — 5 years ago
Excellent young champagne that needs another 3-4 years to start its road to releasing its nascent complexity. Right now it is still expressive but also a bit more linear than is ideal and a little hard edged. Delicious flavours but I expect it to get really exciting with more time. — 6 years ago
Pessac red is consumed by the locals but doesn’t get much attention over the pond. I love it’s accessibility and lack of pretension. This is one of my favourites. — 5 years ago
Ridiculous fruit quality. Unlike the Tillets lieu dit 2015 this wine is reduced right now and tightly wound. In 3-4 years that will dissipate and will become absolutely stunning in my opinion. This producer continues to shine. — 6 years ago

Quite open and delicious with bright fruit and tangy acidity. A classic Morey village showing many good qualities of the vintage. — 5 years ago
