This is the gold standard by which I judge all other $25 purchases. Insurance for my rental car? Nope, a bottle of Senior, please. Pack of 24 pairs of new socks? I'll wear holes and drink this instead. Honeydew, green apples, parsley and charcoal. RS and Magic acid. Everything you've ever wanted in a juice cleanse and a cocktail all in one. — 8 years ago
When I find a great Beaujolais I didn't know about I feel a bit emasculated. But this was worth it times 10. Elegance more similar to julienas but with a tannic structure that's your ringer for MaV. Apparently they have a bottling that's $80 frontline... Beaujolais is, for better or worse, becoming some of the best wine in Burgundy. — 8 years ago
Seriously out-drinks its price point with the texture of a ganevat savignin and the perfume of a sweaty mermaid. This wine is Dicks Out for Harambe. — 8 years ago
I have been waiting for this wine since I learned the word "steen". This really is the realness. A South African Chenin that tastes completely different from Loire but doesn't... Suck like many steens do when compared to Loire. Moderate+ acid (high would have put this at a 9.7), florality, focus, fortitude, fresh and just a hint of funk. A great example of old vines adding depth. — 8 years ago
Expected a little bit more concentration from Ott here as even acidity seemed low for 2013. Beautiful transparency, herbs and riper melon fruit showed better on day 2. — 8 years ago
