This is a great medium body wine. It's in the middle point of medium and full. You can taste the dark cherries and slight oak finish. This is a great wine once it opens... not that great unless it opens up though after an hour. — 7 years ago
Now this is what a cab should taste like. From start to finish, this cab has the perfect balance of black cherries and subtle oak. This is a full body wine that doesn't distort the palate. This can be perfectly pair with dark chocolate or some manchego cheese. Plus it's quite inexpensive compared to other cabs! — 7 years ago
Subtle, but great. — 6 years ago
Very fine cab that has a complex full body taste from start to finish. You can taste the grapes and plum; this would complement a heavy meal. One thing I did notice is that this is a ready to drink cab; where if you let it open too much, the tannins overpowers the finish. — 7 years ago
Amazing! It's like nothing I've tasted before. It's initial blackberry dense taste is like an overture to a grandiose opera. The texture of the wine is what caught me off guard - its heavy like the density of a steak in your mouth. I rated it a 9 because I should've listened and waited a couple of more years to open this ripe tannin wine. Off to buy another one and waiting 10 years. — 8 years ago
Very surprise. This wine has a nice finish. It’s great with a burger. — 7 years ago
This is a good wine full of this berry and slight oak taste. It has a long finish which doesn't distort the plate... I gave it a 3.5 because of the price. I feel like you can get a better tasting wine for the price range. This wine basically reminds me of Joel Gott's cab which is usually under 20 dollars. — 7 years ago
Initially I thought this was a very high tannin wine which didn't seem exciting overall. After I let it open, the wine had a blackberry oak taste that was good, but the finish was just too sour and flat for my liking. — 8 years ago
It's a light wine that is lightly spicy and has a quite acidic black cherry finish. This is a good wine if you don't want to have it overpowering whatever you pair it with. — 8 years ago
