We enjoyed immensely with a beautiful rack of lamb. Although high in alcohol (which you definitely get on the nose) the wine did not taste overly strong. It had herbs and basil notes with leather on the palate. I enjoyed the bottle and was sad to see the last sip so quickly disappear. Must have been my husband sneaking additional pours behind my back.
